D. Paul Cohen
D. Paul Cohen is President of Cohen Independent Research* Group, Inc. As founder
of Bear Stearns Western Regional Offices, he was one of the original 12 Dirty Dozen
analysts, regarded by many to be the top 12 security analysts in the nation. Mr.
Cohen was also the West Coast Senior Vice President of CBWL-Hayden Stone-American
Express. Mr. Cohen's partners were Sanford I. Weill (current Chairman and CEO of
CitiGroup and past Chairman of Solomon Smith Barney) and Arthur Levitt (past Chairman
of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Paul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in undergraduate school,
and attended New York University, graduate school in economics and finance.
Paul was John McEnroe's tennis coach and Venus
and Serena Williams' tennis coach. Paul was instruction Editor for World Tennis
Magazine for 15 years, and Advisory Davis Cup Coach for the Nation of Israel. Many
of the world's great tennis players have taken lessons from Paul, including, Pete
Sampras, Mike Chang, Harold Solomon, Billy Martin, Vitas Gerulaitis, Stan Smith,
12 former top 10 players ranked on the ATP men's tour, and 17 former United States
National Junior Boy's tennis champions.
